Oil-Free Stir-Fry Tofu With Spinach

A simple vegan recipe that is packed with protein, iron, calcium and loads of antioxidants.

Ingredients

  • 100g all-natural firm tofu
  • A generous portion of fresh spinach
  • 1 clove of garlic, thinly sliced
  • Pinke salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Step 1 Cut the tofu into thick

Step 2 Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Step 3 Add a little water to prevent sticking and lightly brown the tofu strips.

Step 4 Once the tofu is browned to your desired crispiness, remove it from the pan and place it on a plate.

Step 5 Add a little water to the same pan and stir-fry the sliced garlic until fragrant.

Step 6 Add the spinach to the pan and toss until wilted.

Step 7 Season with pink salt and pepper to taste.

Step 8 Transfer the spinach to a plate and top it with the tofu before serving.

Tip: Boil tofu in salted water briefly for a firmer, bouncy texture.
