A rich and silky-smooth go-to dessert made for chocolate lovers! Greek yoghurt used in place of milk gives this healthy indulgence a delicious creaminess.

This healthy alternative to sugar-loaded snacks and desserts can be whipped up in just 10 minutes, and is loaded with protein and probiotics that are nourishing to your body.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 135g fat-free Greek yoghurt or dairy-free yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp smooth nut butter (peanut, almond, pistachios or tahini)
  • 20g dark chocolate (at least 70%)
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

For the topping:

  • 20g dark chocolate, melted
  • a drizzle of nut butter of your choice
  • coarsely chopped nuts for texture

Directions

Step 1 Break up the dark chocolate into a heat-proof bowl. Microwave on high for a few seconds, then give it a stir and repeat until completely melted. Leave to cool.

Step 2 Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix well to combine.

Step 3 Divide the mixture between 2 dessert glasses or ramekins.

Step 4 Top with a little more melted chocolate and an optional drizzle of nut butter and roughly chopped nuts.

Step 5 Serve immediately or store in the fridge for 1 hour for a thicker consistency and hard chocolate shell topping.

Tips

1. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
2. Use darker chocolate for lower sugar content.
3. Skip the maple syrup for a healthier option.
4. Choose nut butters with nuts being the only ingredient and no added sugar.
